Ceramic Fiber Module Types and Construction
Ceramic fiber modules are typically produced by folding or stacking ceramic fiber blanket and compressing it into a compact block. The modules are installed using an appropriate anchoring system to form a continuous insulation lining.
The module configuration, fiber orientation, joint arrangement, and anchoring method should be selected according to furnace geometry, temperature, atmosphere, and mechanical conditions.
